Co-Active approach

While the Co-Active coaching method is internationally recognized as a very effective way of coaching individuals and organizations, very few coaches in Slovakia currently employ this method. Fifty percent of all certified coaches in the world have trained from the The Coaches Training Institute (CTI), which has been perfecting this method over many years.

Co-active coaching focuses on the whole life of an individual, which enables the coached managers to observe a more hollistic view of their situation and activates their entire human potential. The term `Co-Active` is defined by a partnership between the coach and the client, and the coaching builds upon this relationship. This coaching method aims to advance client’s progress and in addition it is also an opportunity to pause and explore the client’s `here and now`.

This experience brings clarity and vision of client’s current state of being, which creates a very strong impulse to move forward. Co-Active coaching also utilizes a technique of intensive work with one’s emotions. Emotions and body language are good indicators of what is happening within us, which is usually not overtly visible. Working with emotions allows the growth of intuition, which enables client to come up with creative solutions and access his or her hidden potential and strength.

Coaching is basically a guided conversation. In Co-Active coaching, we consider every client to be able to respond to their own questions, or to find the aswers to them. The natural human potential is like an iceberg in the ocean. We can see and perceive only a small part of it. The role of the coach is to help the client recognize and start using the other – much larger part beneath the water, and to formulate new habits in their daily life.
